Where you rent in Puerto Morelos shapes your day more than the house itself: walking to the beach and restaurants, or a gated community with a pool near the supermarkets. Here's a quick map.
Beachside village
The original town by the sea: beachfront properties, the plaza and the pier. It's the most walkable area and the first choice for oceanfront and monthly rentals.
Pescadores and Punta Arena
Pescadores has a local community feel with a mix of traditional homes and newer builds. Punta Arena is often favored by expats, with modern condos close to amenities.
La Colonia (Villas Morelos I and II)
Established, family-friendly neighborhoods across Highway 307, with larger homes, parks and schools nearby. Rents here are usually lower than on the beach side.
